Suggestions on things to do at home: 

1) make flashcards 

2) make a book (one word per page with a detailed picture and pinyin) 

3) practice writing these words (write it small, write it big, write it using the other hand, write it in bubble letter, write it using different color pencils...) 

4) record your reading in mom/dad's phone, and listen back to your reading!  

5) write Ms.Fan a letter using 5 words from the list. 

6) label things at home with Mandarin. 

7) make a song using 5 words from the list. 

8) make videos of student using their body to write the characters. 

9) challenge yourself to remember 3 words everyday. 

10) use clay/playdoh to make 5 characters from the list.
