Learning Updates for Dec.9-13 十二月九日至十三日

 Dear Kindergarten Friends and Families, 

We had lots of fun learning and made cool Christmas craft this week! Next week will be a very busy week as it will be our last week before the Christmas break, and on Tuesday and Wednesday will be our Christmas concert. Have a wonderful weekend!

本周我们玩得很开心，学习了很多，还制作了很棒的圣诞手工！下周会是非常忙碌的一周，因为这是圣诞假期前的最后一周，并且我们的圣诞音乐会将在周二和周三举行。周末愉快！ 

Important Reminders重要提醒: 

1. Monday/Wednesday class have school on Friday, Dec.20 下周五是周一/周四班上课！ 

2. Winter Break 冬假: December 21 - January 5. The first day back to school is January 6. We will have school on Friday, January 10.  

3. Spirit Week December 16-20 下周每日特别活动！  Monday - Ugly Sweater Day, Tuesday- Whoville Day, Wednesday - Festive/Fancy Wear Day, Friday -  PJ Day 

4. Winter Celebration & Warm Feet for the Street 圣诞音乐会&亲子活动 

We’re thrilled to host our annual holiday events on Wednesday, December 18th! 

Winter Celebration Concert: Join us at 12:45 pm for a festive concert featuring a special song from every grade. The concert ends at 1:45 pm. Tuesday/Thursday class will have your concert on Tuesday, Dec.17 at 12:45pm.  

Warm Feet for the Street: After the concert, visit your child’s classroom to stuff socks with donated items for those in need. You can also enjoy winter treats and place your socks under our tree. Please start bringing in as many donations as you can (toothbrushes, deodorant, gum, etc.) next week and we will start a collection in our classrooms.

我们很开心宣布，12月18日（星期三）将举办一年一度的节日活动！ 

• 温暖脚步公益活动：音乐会结束后，欢迎大家到孩子的教室一起填袜子，为有需要的人送上温暖！还可以吃点冬季小零食，把装好的袜子放到圣诞树下，一起享受这个特别的时刻。 

• 我们从下周开始收集捐赠物品（比如牙刷、除臭剂、口香糖等）。12月20日（星期五），我们会把袜子送到 Mustard Seed，把爱和温暖传递给需要帮助的人。 

让我们一起过一个充满爱心和欢乐的节日吧！ 

Suggested Home Practice 建议在家里和孩子做的练习: 

• Practice putting on your winter gear by yourself. 

• Practice naming and printing the letter we learned this week (g & b). 

• Try saying the sounds in these words: van, vet, fox, mit, pup, hot, ten

 Dear Kindergarten Friends and Families, 

We had a pretty busy week, we learned many new things and started talking about an upcoming special event- Chinese New Year! Next week, we will do more learning and hoping to learn more about Chinese New year and the Christmas holiday!

我们度过了忙碌的一周，学到了很多新知识，并开始讨论一个即将到来的特别活动——春节！下周，我们将继续学习，期待了解更多关于春节和圣诞节的知识！

Dear Kindergarten Friends and Families,
Thank you so much for attending our parent-teacher conferences this week—it was wonderful connecting with everyone!

Unfortunately, I was unwell for two days this week, so I wasn’t able to take as many photos as usual. I plan to combine this week’s photos with next week’s to share a fuller update with you then.Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Learning Updates Nov.18-22 十一月十八日至二十二日

 Hi kindergarten friends and families,

We had a full week of learning! Next week will be our parent teacher interview, I am excited to meet all of you to share about your child’s learning in school.  我们度过了充实的一周！下周将举行家长会，我很期待与各位见面，分享您孩子在学校的学习情况。

Important Reminders重要提醒:

1) No class have school on Friday, Nov. 29 下周五不上课！

2) Parent teacher conference 家长会- Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, November 28th (evening) and Friday November 29th (morning). You can sign up for your school conferences through your cbe account.  If you require support, please don’t hesitate to call the office. My CBE Account  家长会将于11月28日（星期四）晚上和11月29日（星期五）上午举行。您可以通过您的CBE账户预定时间参加学校的家长会。如果您需要帮助，请随时联系学校办公室。

3) Please ensure your child has a jacket, a hat, snow pants, mittens and boots everyday. 请确保您的孩子每天都带外套、帽子、雪裤、手套和靴子来学校。
