Learning Updates for Dec.2-6 十二月二日至六日

 Dear Kindergarten Friends and Families, 

We had a pretty busy week, we learned many new things and started talking about an upcoming special event- Chinese New Year! Next week, we will do more learning and hoping to learn more about Chinese New year and the Christmas holiday! 

亲爱的幼儿园朋友和家人们， 

我们度过了忙碌的一周，学到了很多新知识，并开始讨论一个即将到来的特别活动——春节！下周，我们将继续学习，期待了解更多关于春节和圣诞节的知识！ 

Important Reminders重要提醒: 

1. Tuesday/Thursday class have school on Friday, Dec.13 下周五是周二/周四班上课！ 
   

2. Winter Celebration & Warm Feet for the Street 冬季庆祝活动 & 温暖脚步公益活动 

We’re thrilled to host our annual holiday events on Wednesday, December 18th! 

Winter Celebration Concert: Join us at 12:45 pm for a festive concert featuring a special song from every grade. The concert ends at 1:45 pm. Tuesday/Thursday class will have your concert on Tuesday, Dec.17 at 12:45pm.  

Warm Feet for the Street: After the concert, visit your child’s classroom to stuff socks with donated items for those in need. You can also enjoy winter treats and place your socks under our tree. 

Donations (e.g., toothbrushes, deodorant, gum) will be collected starting next week. On Friday, December 20th, we’ll deliver the socks to the Mustard Seed. 

Let’s spread joy this holiday season! 

我们很开心宣布，12月18日（星期三）将举办一年一度的节日活动！ 

• 冬季庆祝音乐会：欢迎大家在中午12:45加入我们，欣赏每个年级精心准备的表演。音乐会将在下午1:45结束。周二/周四班会提前一天在十二月十七日中午12点半开始。 

• 温暖脚步公益活动：音乐会结束后，欢迎大家到孩子的教室一起填袜子，为有需要的人送上温暖！还可以吃点冬季小零食，把装好的袜子放到圣诞树下，一起享受这个特别的时刻。 

我们从下周开始收集捐赠物品（比如牙刷、除臭剂、口香糖等）。12月20日（星期五），我们会把袜子送到 Mustard Seed，把爱和温暖传递给需要帮助的人。 

让我们一起过一个充满爱心和欢乐的节日吧！ 

Suggested Home Practice 建议在家里和孩子做的练习: 

1. Practice putting on your winter gear by yourself. 

2. Practice naming and printing the letter we learned this week (c & u). 

3. Try saying the sounds in these words: cup, six, jump, fox, yam, yes

• We practiced counting and organize Christmas items in different patterns (AB, ABC) 

• Read aloud book: Rainbow fish, and talked about the importance of being kind and share with our friends, we made our own rainbow fish and talked about what we share in school \
