Math:
Both classes are continuing working on
addition and number sense skills.
We are going to look at how to use
number-line to visualize our math thinking.
By the end of the week, students should be
able to:
1) Use number-line to find numbers
2) Use number-line to identify odd/even
number
3) Use number-line to solve addition
questions.
We are also going to review patterning,
skip-counting in both English and Mandarin,
writing numbers in Mandarin, and fill in the missing numbers on the100 chart.

Science:
Grade 1s are continuing to use their 5
senses to learn about the world. We are going to do
a"5 senses walk" around our school building (if the weather is good) or inside our school

to record things we see, smell, touch(feel), sounds we hear, and
things we should NOT taste. Then, we will also do 2 small experiments on things that we can smell, and
sounds we can hear.
Grade 2s are starting their cold and hot
temperature lessons by talking about different seasons, outfits for different weather, we will also start learning about how to read a thermometer.
